Whoops - posted too soon

  • pref tan
  • flat (or vv slight)
Shoes that will go with dresses and skirts and won’t make me look older than my 32 years. Def not cool enough to pull off brogues!

Thank you!

Have you seen Sole Bliss?

Not cheap, and don't be put off my their tag line of "shoes for women with bunions"!!
Just found them myself this week, not bought anything so can't comment. But designed for buniony-feet, they look wider fitting.

Other end of the price-range, I love New Look's wide range.

Gammeldragz · 13/04/2018 19:49

OP, are you me? I'm 32 with wide size 8 feet and totally clueless about shoes so no help to you at all!

MikeUniformMike · 13/04/2018 19:50

Would ecco or hotter be suitable?

KT63 · 13/04/2018 19:52

Simply Be do a good range of wide fitting non frumpy shoes.

gryffen · 13/04/2018 19:52

Hotter, Evans, YOURS Clothing, SimplyBe.

I'm a 3xtra wide fitting and a size 10 so I know the struggle.

silverrain22 · 13/04/2018 20:00

Size 42 wide fitting here. Brands that fit me well are Gabor, Think, Maus and Fly London. Some of these are a bit frumpy but gems to be found. Think are very pricey but deliciously comfortable. If you want something more reasonable and 'younger' try Ruby Shoo which also fit me well.

MeanTangerine · 13/04/2018 20:03

Asos currently have 313 wide fit styles in a size 8 - good luck!

MikeUniformMike · 13/04/2018 20:08

I have some Gabor shoes and I get complimented on them.

LizzieDarcy1907 · 13/04/2018 20:09

I've got wide feet and am very into Dr Martens at the moment. They are buggers to break in but once they have, they are divinely comfortable. Also, fitflop are very wide fitting and they have some nice shoes.

MikeUniformMike · 13/04/2018 20:16

How do you break the DMs in?

DelphiniumBlue · 13/04/2018 20:18

I have soft suede DMs, they are good for my wide feet and very comfy. Think they come in black, purple and blue.

DelphiniumBlue · 13/04/2018 20:18

Forgot the main point - they didn't need breaking in at all, and my feet are quite sensitive.

MikeUniformMike · 13/04/2018 20:21

I don't want suede or nubuck ones (as I am likely to ruin them in no time) but am scared of breaking in leather ones in case they damage my feet.

Waspsarewankers · 13/04/2018 20:22

Van Dal do wide fit loveleybsoft leather shoes. Maybe worth a look.

AdoraBell · 13/04/2018 20:23

Place marking. Bunions of monsterous proportions here.

LizzieDarcy1907 · 13/04/2018 20:25

I break mine in with really thick socks and wearing in the house. The leather seems quite rigid when you first get them but they soon give. I've got the flora chelsea boots that I'm living in at the moment.

MikeUniformMike · 13/04/2018 20:32

Thanks. Still scared. Placemarking really.
