Facial fuzz

I have been becoming more and more aware of my facial hair. It's not overly bad and it's only my upper lip that bothers me. The rest of my facial hair is light, but for some reason the hair on my upper lip is a lot darker, even looking at photos my eyes are drawn straight to my upper lip. My husband said he didn't notice until I pointed out, but he can see what I am talking about.

I have been toying with the idea of shaving my upper lip or having it threaded. Is this a really bad idea? I don't want to shave it once and be resigned to a lifetime of shaving my moustache. I also don't want it to grow back even worse! Please help

I know its expensive but IPL is the best for this. Worked on my face immediately. Just need a top up every now and again

Use a dermablade, you can get them v cheaply off of amazon and they are fab at removing all manner of facial hair and peach fuzz. Plus they take off all the dead skin cells so your ski is left super smooth as well. Love mine!

Your skiN. Not sure dermablading a ski would do much.

Someone posted similarly on here fairly recently and lots of people recommended a very cheap springy thing from Amazon. Move cake this week and it's us absolutely amazing. Hold on and I'll go and see if I can find it...

I use the spring thing from amazon - was less than £3. It is great. Bit sore at first ( not as bad as waxing ). Takes 30 seconds. Do it fairly regularly but as so quick don't mind. No redness or reaction. Go for it.

Brilliant thank-you!

I used to wax like every couple of weeks, but it was sore plus I'd miss bits and end up having to wax over the same part so would end up ripping my skin off Sad. Got the 'Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover'. It's amazing. It's painless and takes two seconds.

HildaZelda · 12/04/2018 00:19

Wax (professional one) Yes it hurts, but literally for a couple of seconds and that's it.
Do NOT do what my sil does and bleach it. She still has a tache. It's just that now she has an yellow/orange tache.

whysorude · 12/04/2018 19:03

But what about regrowth? With waxing, spring coil and dermablading? Does it grow back thicker and darker? And how safe is ILP? Am too chicken to do anything other than bleach.

Another vote for the Flawless Finishing Touch -it's great!

Bambamber · 12/04/2018 21:28

I had to have a little giggle at the orange/yellow tache Blush

I have to admit the regrowth is what I'm most concerned about. I struggle to find time to do my eyebrows sometimes let alone my tache Blush
