I want these gone off my face!

These blinking white things.
They flare up with no obvious reasons why. This is a bad outbreak.
I don't want to get a pin on them (advised by DR!!)
Are there any creams or tricks to get rid?
TIA

My DH had those. The GP took them off with a tiny surgical melon baller.

They are milia and can only be extracted manually. Local colleges are good places to look for someone to remove them, thats where I go.
Or I attack them with a needle Blush

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/04/2018 16:58

Milia.
I had a crop of these. I found a beautician that specialised in their removal and she spent a hour pin pricking and removing them.
Face was red with tiny red pin points for a day but they healed very well

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/04/2018 16:58

Don't try and scrub them off

skippykips · 11/04/2018 16:59

Do they not leave pits in the face?
How can they be prevented once removed?

Those are milia, I think? You may need them professionally removed but some people have good results with regular AHA use (Liquid Gold or similar).

If you use makeup brushes or sponges make sure you wash them at least once a week - apparently that can be a contributing factor. Not suggesting you use minging brushes really, but just fwiw!

They shouldn’t leave pits, no Shock - not if properly dealt with anyway.

I wouldn’t dig away at them yourself though. That might leave scars.

GummyGoddess · 11/04/2018 17:04

Definitely look like milia, at least they aren't syringoma which are almost impossible to get rid of!

Milia are really common and easy to get rid of, if you sort an appointment today they could be gone by next week.

64BooLane · 11/04/2018 17:09

Ooh. Do I want to Google syringoma?

GummyGoddess · 11/04/2018 17:24

You can, they aren't horrific to look at, I have them under my eyes Grin they look like bumps under skin, so they aren't white like milia. It is very unlikely that removal would be successful unfortunately.

skippykips · 11/04/2018 17:32

So the overall verdict is a specialist to remove!
I will have to wait. I start a new job on Monday. Will need to wait until I get paid.
I was told a retinol cream would work to prevent. All that has done is make my purse emptier!
Thank you for advice. I will do some research in best place to go! Once done (few weeks) I will update with hopefully clear skin!

I just dealt with one on my nose very satisfyingly after reading this thread. Needle and anti-bac gel - job done Grin

Queenio24 · 11/04/2018 19:12

I had one near my eye. As I am a committed sporner, I delighted in tackling it with a sterilised needle. It was like a tiny round ball when it came out, no blood or pain.
