Stylish COMFORTABLE trainers for problem feet!

Hi all. My daughter laughed her head off at the last pair of trainers I brought home, so I'm seeking expert help here.

I would like some trainers/sneakers to wear with cuffed jeans to the park over the summer, and around the house (if they're comfy enough).

The problem is that my feet are wide; I tend to get heel pain; I think I also need arch support as I tend to under-pronate (for reference, I wear Crocs I know, I know around the house).

Any recommendations for slightly stylish trainers that have thick bouncy soles, arch support, plenty of room around the toes, and are suitable for wide feet...? TIA!

(Budget - £50 if they were perfect. Is that do-able..?)

Hah, I'm currently wearing a pair of Fitflop Mukluks! My winter footwear consists entirely of Fitflop boots, and I also have a very comfy pair of their slide wedge sandals for summer, but I need the Microwobbleboard base (nothing else is as comfy, IMO), and none of their trainer styles have that kind of sole Confused

Any other suggestions, anyone..? Clearly not the most riveting thread ever Grin

They don't really meet your brief but as a fit flop boot wearing Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis sufferer I can recommend Nike free trainers. They are super comfy but probably not as supportive as you describe, but sometimes you have to compromise, right?!? I'm accepting that my converse days are over so have bought a pair of white nike frees for the summer - try them?

Try SimplyFeet. The stock a brand called Vionic which I find really good.

Thanks all. Where should I go to try on a wide range of trainer brands/styles? I have a local Sports Direct (am in South London) but it's not huge; I really need to try them on before committing, I think.
