St Tropez in shower stuff is not nice...it's quite greasy (I'm dry skinned) and I couldn't be doing with the faff of standing in shower for it to sink in.
Clarins drops that you add to your own moisturiser is quite handy- I bought a bottle last summer, and there's loads left. You can decide how strong you want the colour to be...takes a bit of trial and error to see how many drops you need to get the correct colour for you.
Bondi Sands- goes on quite dark but washes off to quite a light colour. Perfect for when you want to do just lower arms and legs.
St Tropez tinted- I find this quite good, as you can see where the colour is going on. I'm not so fond of the greasiness. I find it more of a medium than a light tan.
Palmers tinted cocoa butter- very very light. For me I need to do two nights worth of colour to get where I want it, but it's lovely and sinks in well. Perfect for maintaining colour, I would think.
Garnier- the gradual one in an orange bottle- I really dislike, as it feels quite acidy? on the skin.
But Ambre Solaria after-sun with tan extender (I think?- it's a blue and white bottle) is also quite good for a light wash.
Dove gradual tan- comes in a light and dark shade. That's quite nice as well...and often on special offer in the supermarkets.
