Help! No bras fit me! K/KK cup

I want to cry. Went into Bravissimo yesterday (my mainstay for bras for years as boobs have got increasingly large) and despite bring fitted and having help trying on heaps of bras, NONE fit. Even the fitting lady was upset and apologetic! I am a 36 K/KK. Cannot wear Panache as the underwires dig in under my armpits. The problem I am having with all of them is the underwires don't sit on my chest in between my boobs - they are a good 2-3 inches out. Apart from anything, this makes me sad as my kids avoid coming for a cuddle as they get stabbed by the underwires! All my current bras (none of which fit very well) are now sliding off my shoulders within moments of putting them on which drives me insane (especially in recent months when I've been wearing so many layers in the cold as it's no mean feat to reach in to hoik them up!). I want something comfortable for the summer.

Can anyone recommend any styles or shops? I had screenshot an old mn thread with some recommendations but none seem to go up to my cup size.

THANK YOU!

Have a look on amplebosom.com

I have never used them but they may have something

I filtered on 36K on SimplyBe. 64 bras came up. A few of them were Panache, but some by Gossard and other brands. Presumably Ella is their own brand? Their next cup size from K is L. No KK. Worth a try OP. Best of luck. A comfortable bra is a must!

There is a woman in Poland who custom makes bras very reasonably. Eva something I think. I’m now 32K and can get in bravissimo but I used to be a 38K, sometimes an L so I understand your distress. I can’t remember her website as it’s a couple of years since I needed her, but if a google doesn’t throw her and and you are interested let me know and will dig it out this evening.

No advice but just read this out to my mum as she is 36JJ and is having exactly the same problem. She is so fed up!

M&S now go up to a K but limited choice.

This is the Polish made to fit company. Never used them, but if you google bra bloggers you might get more advice.

Another Polish company to look at is www.krisline.com

Did you try the bravissimo Alana?

marriednotdead · 09/04/2018 15:10

I know it's not ideal but did you try any sports bras while you were there? Although you may not get a perfect fit, there is at least one that will resolve some of your comfort issues.

apintofwhine · 09/04/2018 21:11

@mintchick has your mum tried elomi. Their plunge bras are stretchy, non padded and the wires at the front are lower so I find they sit flat

wineoclockthanks · 09/04/2018 21:28

Rugby and Peller go up to that size I think. They don't have many stores but hopefully there's one close to you.

auntysara · 09/04/2018 21:31

Get yourself to SimplyBe.
I'm currently sporting a Charnos Sienna. I ordered a few for size and found they come up larger than many others. So maybe it would fit you? Very comfortable and supportive.

SeaLionsOnMyShirt · 09/04/2018 22:23

Elomi are my go to brand now - I am the same size as you and have exactly the same problem with the wires in a lot of brands, especially at the front between the boobs. I loved the Caitlyn as it is the most comfortable but Cate is also good. No digging in under the arms, and although the wires don't go totally flat at the front (boobs too close together) they are almost there and a lot better than anything else I've tried. They are very supportive too! Ample Bosom & Simply Be do them online.

Bravissimo were very nice but had nothing comfortable in stock, and don't get me started on the service in R&P. I now go to an independent shop (can give you details if in London) once a year for measuring & a couple of new ones (they recommended Elomi to me initially), and stock up online in the sales in between visits.
