BRAs-where am i going wrong?

my norks are still rather large since having dd3 9 weeks ago(34 F),but every time i get a bra that i think fits me,ie that i have tried on and fits me while im in the fitting room, once ive worn it for a few hours my norks start to work their way out and i end up with the dreaded 4-nork syndrome.

i dont want to pay £30+ for a piece of scaffolding to hold them in place,as i am not going to be this size for much longer(i will loose weight).i just dont understand it,unless my boobs are increasing in size over the course of the day(im not bf,by the way).

?

I think generally speaking the band needs to be very tight under your breasts, it shouldn't move around at all and remember the inside underwires or seams need to be flat against your chest bone between your breasts and not drop forward at all - incidentally I find it very tricky to do up my 32h if i put my arms in first I always do it up around my waist first. try on a 32g in m&S and see how it feels. I'm an 18/20 on top because of the size of my norks otherwise I reckon I'd probably be a 14/16. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Another fan of Bravissimo here Once you know what size you are you can confidently buy online or from their brochure. They tell you which are more generous fits and whether you should order smaller or bigger than your normal size.

Ditto Bravissimo - the place is wonderful. They don't measure you, they fit you - I was absolutely amazed when I bought four bras on the same day, in four different sizes - even in the same range, they explained black ones usually fit tighter because the dyeing process shrinks the yarn more or something. I have also found them great for not selling you stuff when you don't need it - I got fitted a few weeks ago to account for pg expanding ribcage and they advised another four weeks wait.

Seriously, go see them, explain your predicament and see what they say. At worst maybe you end up paying £25 for a bra that you wash and wear to death for three months. I rather go for that than feeling mentally low because I don't like my shape or physically crap with backache.

Diva If you find anywhere good round here point me in the right direction as I haven't had much luck with Deb/M&S here.

i would go to bravissimo if there was one nearby but i live in the back end of beyond and ,seriously, there is only M+S and debenhams that do big sizes.

not fair!and travelling to a larger town/city isnt an option atm
