Babyliss stylers

My hot rollers have broken and I need something to replace them so I'm considering one of the babyliss stylers, either the babyliss big hair brush or the sheer volume hair brush, but need advice on which one to choose.

My hair is long, past my shoulders. It is not thick but I have a lot of hair.
It is naturally wavy and becomes quite curly when dried with a diffuser.
I'm about 40% grey, it is dyed but because of the grey the texture has changed so sometimes my hair does not curl as well and it can be a bit hit and miss if done this way.
Therefore, I sometimes rough dry it and use heated rollers for a neater look. My favourite is a curly blowdry after I've been to the hairdressers, and it is not as smooth as this but will give a similiar look.

Do either of the babyliss give a curled end? Also due to my hair type I can get a lot of frizz and small bits of curl along the hairline so would like the brush to smooth over too.
The babyliss comes in two different sizes; 42 and 50. Which one is recommended?
Thank you.

Bumping up your post. I would like to know the answer to this. Only suggestion i have is to watch youtube demonstrations for both stylers to get an idea of which one would suit you. Generally youtubers tell you about their own hair type and talk you through the whole process.

I just got my Big Hair this morning. I've attached a pic of my hair after my first use, and a pic of how my hair looks when I just blow dry it (no straightening or product). As you can see, It does smooth and give a bit of curl. I have incredibly coarse, thick hair and I was surprised by how well it worked. NOTHING except GHDs work on my hair, but I bought the BBH because I'm looking for a healthier way to maintain it as I'm growing it long and the ends always split with too much straightening.

Reservations: 1. the BBH feels a bit flimsy and like it might not stand up to prolonged use on very thick hair. 2. Because of the cut of my hair and my layers, It only seems to give me one look, and this look is "Kate Middleton".

I have both. Yes you ca get a curled end with either. More of a curl with the smaller barrel. I have fine hair and BBH gives me more volume, but leaves my hair a bit fluffy/frizzy. Sheer Volume does not make it as bouncy, but gives a more smooth, polished finish.

I have both the big hair and the volume brush. I find the big hair dries my hair out whereas the rotating volume brush I can wash my hair at night and use in the morning to smooth it out. Big hair will give you a bouncy blow dry while the volume will make it smoother - some volume but not as much as the big hair.

Thank you.
I ordered the BBH 42 barrel yesterday and thanks to amazon prime it arrived this afternoon. It was £28 on amazon.
I've just washed my hair, and I'm waiting for it to dry off before using it. I will report back and let you know Doingreat.
Your hair looks great Fabala.

Thanks! The bounce and sleepiness has held up well, although it hasn't passed the outside/rain test yet...

*sleekness. Autocorrect is my enemy :D

Update:
Really pleased with BBH. I have naturally curly/wavy hair, so when I've used hot rollers before I still get a lot of frizz around roots. BBH has really helped with this, though it doesn't curl like hot rollers, my hair is definitely bouncy, and has a slight curl on the ends. I think the smaller barrel (42) has helped achieve this.

Agree with fabala though. Not sure how long it will last. Bristles on the brush have already started to spread after one use. I have so much hair and I'm not sure how long this will last.
Really happy with the result though, and it was reduced to £28 on Amazon.
