Best sunscreen if I want to tan but not burn to a crisp?

Travelling to somewhere very hot and sunny and need sunscreen recommendations... I have pale skin that does tan eventually, so I need a sunscreen that’ll help me tan but stop me getting burnt!

I use a factor 20 oil Smile sure you can get higher factors too but find that being an oil I still tan x

Ultra sun is what we use.

P20. It's a liquid that you only need to apply once daily. I've used it for years in varying climates and have never burned.

You need to read the instructions on any cream because most have to be topped up pretty frequently. Therefore about a 20-30 Factor gives you enough time before reapplying and should stop you burning if you follow the instructions. You need to reapply after swimming.

Oil is messy and often a low factor. Creams or sprays are less messy. Most high street brands are reliable but look for 2:1 offers as I am always surprised at the price!

Factor 30 Piz Buin, if I use this I don't burn and got pale skin. The original cream is best for me and moisturising too. Have a good holiday!

I am very pale. I like Nivea 30 to start and maybe go to 15 on a 2 week holiday or P20. Never burn with them. Takes a while but I go golden eventually.
