Aggressive Chiropidist recommendation in Manchester

By aggressive, I mean effectjve not bad mannered! i used to have a brilliant chiropodist who made my feet look half a size smaller with how much hard skin she got off. She was also brilliant at paring down corns and verrucas so that they lay flush with the skin. She also made my nails sparkle - all yellow gone and ridges etc. But she mkved away and I haven't found a decent chiropodist since. The last inwe I had was so gentle, it was like being licked by kittens!

Anyone got a really good chiropodist who really gets stuck in. I live South Manchester Cheshire but willing to travel for a great one.

I go to Margaret Dabbs in London for medical pedicures and my feet are transformed! I think they have a clinic in Alderley Edge but can't vouch for it specifically....

Are you going to proper chiropodists or foot health practitioners?.

MissFritton65 · 01/04/2018 10:04

I go to Siobhan at Pied a Porter; fantastic service and my very manky feet are much improved. She has clinics in Marple Bridge and Romiley. I thoroughly recommend.

thanks guys - always chiropodists - my feet are too bad for beauty or medical pedicure!

JM its Podiatrist you're looking for . Search under Podiatrist and you need one thats HCP Registered (used to be SRCh - State Registered Chiropodist- but names have changed)

And get yourself a good long file with double sides , a long handle and a bit of flex so you can carry on the god work.
And cream - use at night with a pair of old cotton socks to keep the warmth in.
I use watever I have to hand - at the moment I'm on SteamCream because I don't like the lavender smell but my heels are far enough away Grin

Palmers do a heel 'stick' like a balm or Flexitol Heel Balm .
Dry file then warm soak then cream+ socks.

That's good work not god work (though some of my collegues think they're Godlike )

It's a long time since I went but Scholl on Deansgate in Manchester used to be amazing. I see it's rebranded as Shuropody now - the shop is at the Exchange Street end of Deansgate.

They have a store in Stockport too if that's more convenient seeing as you're in Cheshire.
