Mineral powder foundation

So Bare Minerals discontinued their best selling product to the dismay of many a customer. My Ready powder foundation is now running out .
Has anyone any recommendations for a solid powder foundation that is buildable and has shades for very pale skin?

Lily lolo has a good range of shades for the pale and very pale, you can get fairly generous sample pots for 1.50 each off the website. However it’s not solid and even tho it claims to be buildable i can’t seem to get more than a light coverage happening. It could be me being a buffoon tho as all online reviews rave the house down about it.

Jane Iredale, I've used it for almost 10yrs!

Bare Minerals Ready was perfect
I can’t understand why they replaced it with such an inferior product
The reviews for the new one are just pages and pages of angry people wanting the old one back

Is the replacement for it the Bare Pro powder?

Comps83 · 29/03/2018 23:01

Yes . It’s just not as good . Been trying to conserve my Ready but I’m running low
I’ve had some good loose powers before but they’re are too messy

I never tried BM Ready but used Bare Pro. It was ok but I've now gone back to the original loose powder now with the lovely new brush they have brought out. It feels so much nicer, not caked on and looks so much more natural. I use NARS creamy concealer underneath as the coverage isn't as full. The loose powders are messy, I agree but I'm much happier with it!

I used one years ago , think it was called Shear Cover. Was pricey but covered everything. It just gets everywhere! I ended up with an orange carpet .

Sheer cover! It’s been a long day

Lily Lolo has a great range of shades. I use it when I'm having a good skin day - increasingly rare these days - but agree with pp re coverage. I've used it on and off for 10 years, have tried many different brushes, primers etc but have never been able to achieve the coverage that I need when my skin is playing up.

Laura Geller balance and brighten is nice. Goes on well and is buildable to provide the coverage you want.
