It was a sight to strike abject terror into the heart of anyone with a treasured Brora cashmere cardigan in their closet - not one, but two, clothes moths lurking in the cornice above my wardrobe. I squashed them, obviously (and may they rest in purgatory in perpetuity ) but I’m sure there will be more of the blighters to come.
I could weep when I mourn the much-loved garments they’ve chomped through over the years.
Short of burning down my house, I’ve tried everything to get rid once and for all, from lavender sprigs (don’t work), cedar balls (ditto) to storing jumpers in the freezer (the kids moan when they can’t have fish fingers) and spending said kids’ inheritance on prohibitively expensive moth repellent sachets.
I’d really appreciate suggestions of products that have helped others beat a moth infestation.
