Has anyone had a hydrafacial?

I went to have some milia removed today and was telling the nurse how my skin feels congested and stressed at the moment. She gave me some info about hydrafacial..wondered if anyone has had one done.

I'm having one next Thursday! So can report back then. I have heard good things about them.

HRTpatch · 16/03/2018 16:50

Ooh great! I've booked one for Friday!

Ooh we can check back in and compare results!

I have had one done, i wish i could afford them more regularly. I've never had a regular facial though so dont really have anything to compare it to. They do show you all the dirt they have sucked out of your skin at the end though which is fantastic and gross!

HRTpatch · 16/03/2018 19:10

I didnt even ask how muchShock
I have regular facials but need something more hardcore

They are about £100 a go where I liveShock You can buy multiple sessions which work out cheaper per facial but still. Ive just got a 25% off voucher for a place in Birmingham that does them so you can find deals sometimes. Worth a go for a experience I think. Someone told me the effects of a regular facial last about a week and the hydrafacial lasts mulptiple weeks.. but that didnt really mean anything to me as like I say ive never had a regular one. Oh tell a lie i did have one or two just before i got married, didnt notice anything then to be honest. Hydrafacials are definitely more hardcore

Whereabouts are the milia? If it's nose and cheeks I read a blogger who swears by glamglow supermud mask.

Delatron · 16/03/2018 19:42

I think my justification with the price is that it is a 'medical' facial. I don't do 'relaxing' facials anymore.

Delatron · 16/03/2018 19:44

Regular facials here are £70 so I'd rather pay a bit more to have a more 'hardcore' facial.

LanguidLobster · 16/03/2018 19:48

Definitely try the facial though, you want to and you're curious!

HRTpatch · 17/03/2018 07:57

Thanks..I pay £60 for a Dermalogica facial..and I'm intrigued as to what the results will be!
I only had 2 milia to remove by my nose...all gone.

Ooh, let us know how you get on!

HRTpatch · 20/03/2018 15:30

Had it about an hour ago. Very pleasant experience.
I feel I've lost a few pounds with the extraction! A bit of redness around my nose but skin looks very fresh.

Lovely HRTpatch, got mine on Thursday. My last treatment was a painful laser so actually looking forward to something more pleasant!
