Hi, I'm going out for a work related drink on Thu night. The eldest of my prospective colleagues is 26, I'm 44.

All are coming from their office, so no jeans.

What can I wear to look young and blend in? Colour or all black?

Thanks Thanks

i think i would wear slim fit trousers, a cap sleeved drape-y top or a smart material top showing some arm and collar bone, loads of fine jewellery- bracelets, layered necklaces and lovely modern make up. heels too

Don’t like top I’m afraid. My go to outfit in situations where unsure what to wear is silk shirt, leather leggings/trousers and heels.

I am 40 and I usually wear leggings with a pretty trim round the ankle, high high heels and a tunic top with some pretty jewellery x add hair extensions and lashes and I'm good to go! X

The problem with the top is that it isn't a top. It's a tshirt. I would wear something much smarter for going out. T shirts are going shopping kind of clothes.

Why are so many calling for wide legged trousers? Are they a thing?

"all black, heels, red lips I think"

Sounds good. That would take you anywhere.

I'll take the jacket off when I get there. Top is embroidered high neck long sleeve. Red Lippy in handbag!
