They do body creams in each of the home fragrances. I got the lime, basil and Mandarin yesterday and it's beautiful....

Thank you Blue, that's really helpful Smile

Does anyone else think the reed diffusers are shit?!

puffermunkin · 13/03/2018 14:26

I really like the reed diffusers and candles. I think they are brill for the money but the fragrance is nowhere as strong as the real JM candle. I get frustrated at my local Aldi because they never have the matching candle and diffuser in stock, just random ones.

I thought the body stuff was only a Mother's Day special? I bought the freesia and pear body lotion and perfume, they smell lovely but not yet put them next to my JM freesia and pear products.

I've just been to Home Bargains and their version of the Jo Malone pomegranate one is nice, a bit too heady for me but quite pleasant!
The Yankee candle ones were nice too but sold out of the one I wanted.

Monkeybunkey · 13/03/2018 16:31

@usercantsleep the first No 1 diffuser I had was great and pretty powerful. I bought another one when that one ran out and can barely smell it at all.

swimster01 · 13/03/2018 18:36

lht22, the lime and basil is citrusy/fresh, the pomegranate one is fruity and the freesia and pear one is fruity and fresh - I liked the lime/basil and the freesia/pear best

Thanks swim I'll be buying some tomorrow!

Alabasterangel6 · 13/03/2018 19:56

Maybe just me but I’ve had two of the candles and they smell of absolutely zero.... I don’t get anything from them at all.

The latest one, No1, might as well have been a plain wax candle. I’d tried No2 before so got another to give the benefit of the doubt but no, couldn’t smell a thing.

I’m back to my Home Bargains £3 jars which fill the room.....

LibertyBlue · 13/03/2018 19:58

Apparently the quality has declined after the initial hype has passed. They used to be good dupes. Now they are not. I won’t be wasting my money!

lht22 · 13/03/2018 21:02

Alabaster Which Home Bargains are good? Their yankee dupes smelled strong but not the scent I wanted.

Alabasterangel6 · 13/03/2018 22:21

The best home bargains one is the gingerbread one. They often have it at Xmas. If you don’t like a baking smell then the vanilla and orchid one is really nice. Apple and cinnamon smells of not much and clean linen is a bit ‘meh’.

MelanieSmooter · 13/03/2018 22:31

I’ve got a No4 diffuser in my bedroom, and the pump body lotion. Also have the pomegranate (No3?) body cream in the glass jar. I definitely prefer the Fresia and Pear, my room smells amazing!

@usercantsleep getting the bloody stopper out was shit! I had to use a metal skewer 🙈
