Really flattering swimsuits

Help me please!

We're going on a lovely sun holiday soon, a real treat, and I don't want to spend a week feeling self conscious.

I'm prepared to spend money on a couple of really good swimsuits that make me feel more comfortable. Where should I shop and what should I look out for?

I'm a size 14 and not very happy with my stomach area which is wobbly. I still have a c section issue going on there. Legs/bum are fine (relatively speaking Wink)

Is plain black the best bet?

Love the advice about not worrying, and yes, we all think people will be looking at us...not true! If you are playing with your small DC in the shallows, you might want to think about a couple of flattering beach dresses/cover ups....so easy to get burnt, and there are some lovely ones around, like this www.thewhitecompany.com/uk/Broderie-Kaftan/p/BRCCP?swatch=Black

I am also a size 14 and my tummy is my worst bit, my bum and legs are good. I wear a Magisculpt Lose an Inch costume in red, this one: its very flattering and makes me looks a lot better in the tummy area.

I've never tried them but Norma Kamali swimsuits are supposed to be great if very expensive. They're 50s style like the For Luna ones but probably even nicer given the price (not sure who pays 300 quid for a swimsuit though!)

Freya Deco is flattering -

Honestly i would say get a Swim dress, its literally a short dress... that you wear in water, Like this for example

I’m a size 12/14 with big boobs and normally go for bravissimo swimwear however last year I tried a Tesco F&F swimsuit, it’s a ruched tummy control body which really sucks you in and looks great, the bra part is good too and I was concerned that it wouldn’t be supportive enough but it was fine.
They have it again this year in a few different colours, only £16 which was a nice surprise when I was prepared to spend at least 50 at bravissimo

I feel uneasy buying things that cheap like that in Tesco. How is it possible to produce a swimsuit for so little? Somebody else is paying the price Hmm

I have ordered two M&S suits and one For Luna one, fingers crossed. Thanks for these great tips!

I know you have them now but another good one is Unique Vintage. They're similar to For Luna but some different designs I like. They're in the US though so can take a while to get them. Worth a look!
