I have sensitive, eczema prone skin. My scalp starts with eczema even when I use dry shampoo and hairspray! I am starting to go grey and considering dying hair. However it's likely to trigger my eczema. What are my options? Are there any? I really don't wanna just go grey, I'm only in my 30's

What do you mean your scalp starts with extra even with dry shampoo and hairspray?

Eczema sorry not extra

You might be surprised by your 'grey' and like it, if you give it chance to grow a bit. Mine came through and just made my light brown/dark blonde hair look blonde. My Mum on seeing my hair grew the dye out of her's and her's went the same. The key is not to panic and just let it grow for a bit. The individual hairs are actually white so it depends what white streaks look like against your own hair.

Stupid question, but are you absolutely sure it’s eczema on your scalp even if you have it elsewhere? I had an itchy flaky scalp for years which I put down to my skin being sensitive rather than regular dandruff, because no anti-dandruff shampoo had ever worked (they had just aggravated it) and my father had the exact same thing. But then my doctor prescribed Nizoral shampoo and all my problems just went. So it’s worth confirming with a doctor (or dermatologist if you have one.

Whatever you use, you will want to do a patch test to see how your skin reacts. Aveda are gentler than a lot of brands and don’t use ammonia. You might also want to investigate herbal and natural hair dyes.

Yes Nizoral is brilliant. So, oddly, is the Poundland anti-dandruff shampoo. Way better than head & shoulders. You might want to stop using dry shampoo, it's probably aggravating your scalp quite a bit. And if you do use it, only use for one day before washing out - layering it will definitely cause you scalp issues.
