whizz, where do you actually sell these or is it all just internet based? I am wondering, because the ront foyer at harefield has little stands selling things sometimes, and i know when the jewellery ladies come in they get a lot of business. mind you they always turn up when i am broke and only ever there for one day at a time.

Yes I could do something along the lines of the M&S earrings (same colours?) & I have the hoopy bits to do something similar to the others.

Misdee I am feeling really guilty as really this is still a hobby. I only sell stuff to give me more room & more cash to buy more beads ! I feel as if I owe MN an Ad fee . I have done a couple of local craft fairs & school fairs & also have a very basic website which I am still trying to jazz up a bit.

Whizz, I've said it before about how lovely your stuff is, I'm very tempted as I'm really quite dull and dreary so a few sparkly bits and bobs might be good.

How do you wear the lariet things though?? Sorry for being thick, fancy jewelery like this is all new to me.

the lariats just tie in a loose knot at the front, so you can tie higher up nearer your neck or lower down, depending on the neckline of what you are wearing. I have also made double length ones that go once around your neck before tieing.

The looped lariats are harder to explain - they are really just a group of beads on the end of a long cord. Fold the cord in half so the beaded ends are together, pass cord behind your neck & then thread the beaded ends trough the loop (IYSWIM !!)

NBG - inky drop earrings are silver plated wires & findings & are £4 inc P&P

I could put a similar 'drop dangle'bit onto either thin leather thong or maybe onto tigertail (very thin twisted beading wire)- I would have to give it a go & see how it turned out !
