I'm going on holiday soon and am sick of buying one wear rubbish summer shoes in Primark and the like.

I'd like to get some genuinely comfortable but really nice sandals and don't mind paying a bit (by a bit I mean up to 70 maybe).

I've got quite big feet so nothing that could be do clodhoppery. Maybe a bright colour just because I like colour although open to elegant go with everything ones too.

My sandals are from Clarks because I need comfy ones for walking a round a lot, they have some very nice ones I promise.

I also have fit flops which are super comfy.

I've just had a quick look and they dont have any of mine in stock anymore which is a shame so I can't show you an example.

Couldn’t work out how to copy the link on my phone but I have bought these. I have size 8/9 wide feet and got these in an 8- they are really comfy and look lovely on (and I noticed they have identical ones in topshop!)

If you're not sure what to get just get some saltwater sandals.

Have a Google of Earth Spirit sandals. I walk miles and miles with my dogs but like to look reasonably stylish when doing so! I have size 7 feet, ingrowing toenails and bunions but these are very comfortable and robust. Inexpensive too.

I have this model, I love them for walking, but not very stylish I am afraid

Ooh no, not the saltwaters. They are very cold-hoppery on larger feet sizes and easily look frumpy in my experience.

My walking/ trekking sandals are Teva Kayentas, which could easily look a bit tradge but are in fact quite dainty and feminine- I’ve had lots of compliments. Mine are pinky/grey.

But for nice dressy sandals I’d recommend these

I know someone else already mentioned saltwaters but they are fantastic. I have about 6 pairs now in different colours. So comfortable.

prampushingdownthehighst · 06/03/2018 17:08

Ugg do brilliantly comfortable sandals and the last well too.

dontticklethetoad · 06/03/2018 17:12

Saltwater sandals definitely. Especially feminine if you go for a metallic colour.
The yellow ones are lovely too.

Aspiga.

Careful selection from Earth Spirit, or El Naturalista sandals here. With walking sandals (Teva or karrimor style) when I'm less bothered by looks. I wear sandals about 9 months of the year (it was 30C here today in early spring).

I have stopped buying cheap sandals and the last few years have bought them from Clarkes(never thought I'd see the dayGrin) but they are really comfortable and I think really pretty
They don't have many in at the moment but it these sort

Also Dune do nice sandals which I have bought in previous years as well, have also bought from Boden. I am not so keen on Saltwater myself but I know lots of people love them.
Enjoy your holiday
