I'm lazy when it comes to personal care but my skin is now starting to object to my negligence. I'm looking for a good face moisturiser for combination skin. I don't have the money to test a lot of options so please share your favourites for me to try.

Thanks.

Nivea Blue is great for the neck!

Superdrug have a variety of ranges, all fairly reasonable and cruelty free.

Another vote for Nivea Blue!

Nivea Soft is excellent, not just for face, as a body moisturiser, for cream, hand cream too.

Nivea Soft, every time.

Thank you so much for the recommendations. I've bought the Nivea Soft and it is lovely.

Nivea soft is so amazing as a hand cream!
It absorbs so quickly! Smile

I've just been away for a couple of nights and, wanting to cut down on how many toiletries I was taking, took a mini Sanctuary Moisture Burst Face Wash which I got in a Christmas gift set, together with a small pot of Nivea Soft. I figured it was only for 2 nights, and I can easily go back to my normal skincare (Clinique/L'oreal Laser Renew) today.

What a revelation! The face wash was lovely, and not drying at all (I've got combination skin and get quite dry on my cheeks) and the Nivea Soft was really hydrating - I used it day and night, and also as a body cream. It was a brilliant base under makeup.

Whilst I'll continue on with my normal regime for the moment as I've got a lot of stuff to use up, I will definitely be taking the Sanctuary/Nivea Soft combo on a couple of short breaks I've got coming up, and also my holidays in the summer.

Naturally radiant, sp15 from superdrugs.
I've tried loads of creams over the years including the ones mentioned on this thread. But this I go back to. And it's on offer at the moment in Superdrugs.

I picked up L'Oreal Tripe Active Dry/Sensitive a few weeks ago and really happy with it, £6.50:

Comes in a glass pot, weirdly makes it feel more expensive than it is. A little seems to go a long way.

It is quite thick so I think when the weather gets warmer I will need a lighter one.

Superdrug Omptimum range ( goes by age , I am 51 and bought the 40+ in the grey packaging and the eyecream) Brilliant stuff. My skin feels hydrated but not greasy.

Aldi , unfortunately melts on my sweaty little head and into my eyes and stings like Billy-O even hours after I;ve applied it.

DD loves Aveeno , she has fairly sensitive skin

I'm a nurse working in care of the elderly, the amount of woman I've looked after that have used the Nivea in the blue pot and have had really good skin is amazing.

MrsJayy · 12/03/2018 11:19

Superdrug own vitaminE moisturiser is what I use it feels nice and doesn't irritate my face.
