Advanced Night Repair - any good? Worth it?

I'm in the mood for a treat but don't want to get stuck in to Spring make up yet. I have loads of Boots points to spend. I'm thinking maybe a skincare treat.

I'm 38, skin in very good nick really but have some fine dehydration lines around my eyes and I'm always chasing a bit of extra glow and plumpness. Would ANR be a good bet or is it just an over priced serum? Thanks

Ihate, that's a good idea. Have heard great things about the M&S cream. Cant pay with Boots points of course but that's ok!

I quite like ANR, it makes my skin feel hydrated but I really do not like the smell. It doesnt hang around long but its quite unpleasant.

Only creams with retinol reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Clinique repairwear laser focus worked better for me.

I’m 39 and tried ANR a few months ago. It made no discernible difference. I’ve gone back to Aldi Lacura serum.

See, this is what I was hoping you would say thanks all for saving me £40 plus! Think will stick with the Ordinary and maybe try some new products from them. And give the M&S cream a whirl too!

Lone voice, but ANR is the one product which really, really makes a difference to my skin. Weirdly, I don’t notice it hugely day to day, but if I stop it for even a few days, I notice a massive difference - I just look shit. Even in periods of extreme poverty, it’s the one thing I won’t do without.

Didn't make any difference to me, other than to aggravate my skin.

I second the M&S ultimate sleep cream. I know lots of Sparks cardholders who give me their offer coupons when they get them. I think it's £22 full price.

Agree. Estee Lauder ANR made absolutely no difference to my skin whatsoever. I used it diligently for weeks. What a waste of time and money.

I agree with judy. It just makes me look better, my skin is plumper and when I run out I look crap. It's the only pricey product that I always always buy. A large bottle lasts me a year though.

Have tried it but not keen. Much prefer BareMinerals SkinLongevity serum.

No! I can only speak for the EL Advanced Night Repair Eye Gel cream stuff. It was SO expensive, bought at a time when I was feeling old and stressed. It did nothing. Don’t waste your money OP

ANR eye cream is meh too

I've used Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for about 20 years. I love it. It is Estee Lauder's best seller, I think, or definitely one of them. I don't like the Advanced Night Repair eye creams at all though, they make no difference to my eyes. I was sent a full size bottle as part of a MN review once and I didn't rate it at all, even when I hadn't aid a penny for it.

Totally agree that the eye version is crap.
