Victoria Health will email you a regime. And you will be advised to buy about 12 products. Make of that what you will.
I did it last year when they first hit these threads.
I did as I was told and followed the regime (Vit C, Retinoid 2%, Buffet, Hyaluronic in my case) and didn't see any discernible difference. The texture of the Vit C is gritty, the Buffet and Hyaluronic are slimey.
I prefer RetinA cream, and other serums. But each to their own. I remain a bit
about The Ordinary's marketing personally. Yes, their ethos is that they are loads cheaper, lots of high potency ingredients, and yes, people tend to notice a massive difference very quickly. My question would be what those people were doing to their skin prior to buying the 59 products from VH. If nothing, then d'oh, of course they're going to notice a difference.
The best thing I started using regularly for ageing skin (am 52 now) was an acid toner. Nip and Fab pads are good, and quick, and invariably on some sort of offer at Superdrug.
Best (neutral) skincare advice you'll get is by popping onto the long running skincare threads and asking someone like Botemp. She might recommend 42 products from The Ordinary, but she probably won't.
PS I do like the Hyalamide subq eye stuff (sister company, same umbrella) and the NIOD opaque primer (ditto) very much. I'm not a total Ordinary hmmmer.
