I DO NOT CARE HOW FASHIONABLE THEY ARE I AM NEVER WEARING COLOURED JEANS

that is how strongly i feel about them

NomDePlume · 03/05/2007 13:37

I had the black ones with diff coloured arses. I had red and green pairs.

Several years earlier I was also the proud owner of a pair of jeans with flintstones transfers all over them. Often worn with a reversible sweatshirt (remember those ?).

quadrophenia · 03/05/2007 13:39

I had: red, dark pink, baby pink, neon green, normal green and the brightest blue you've ever seen. All stretch Versace and each pair cost between £85-£155 . Some were size 6 and some an 8.

I was only an office junior at the time and bought myself 2 pairs every month from my wage. Wouldn't dream of wearing Versace now [yuck].

Had a lot to do with being in love with Lawrence, the guy who worked in the shop (can't believe how his name still rolls off my tongue like it were yesterday!)

Greensleeves · 03/05/2007 18:51

I had green, turquoise and purple. I still have a pair of very flared purple cords

RanToTheHills · 03/05/2007 19:02

so can I wear my old green levi 501s from (shudder & v quiet whisper) the late 1980s?

In my first year at university (1992) I had very tight red ones (they were fab, £10 from cj's). By my third year I had moved onto levi's which were dark green (not as nice as the cheap red ones, imo).

cupcakes · 03/05/2007 19:05

ooh, snap MT!

ah yes, the checked men's shirts. They were soooo ....

sexy.

I used to wear my room key (lived in halls) on a red ribbon round my neck like a long pendant.

Polgara2 · 03/05/2007 22:00

Oooh yes - I had a bright purple pair and a sage green pair. Remember wearing gold ballet pumps with the green!!! Thought I looked super cool plus my big crimped hair .

ghosty · 04/05/2007 01:53

If I still had them, the problem would be the fact that the waist was so high it was probably under my boobs ....

I wore all my coloured jeans with ..... bodies .... [barf] .... you know the tight all in ones with poppers underneath.

Many a night we would stagger home pissed from the pub ... too pissed to do the poppers up ..... oh the days of being a student

oh god

I went to Durham uni 92-95 and all the rahs wore coloured jeans with college scarves/sweatshirts and Timberland deck shoes or sand coloured boots. you could spot the buggers a mile off

I could NEVER wear coloured jeans for that very reason. mind you I did have a green pair and what I can only describe as 'aubergine' pair myself

Boobsgonesouth · 04/05/2007 04:01

I had one red pair..and one orange ( pair....with matching popper bodies under the crutch too !!!!

So would have gone out looking like a tomato or a satsuma

Skyler · 04/05/2007 15:32

First year at Uni and I had lime green, mustard yellow, and bright blue 501's. My housemates had bright sky blue, orange, bright pink, white and the usual blue ones between them too. We used to go to Camden market to get them, having caught the coach from Exeter Yes really. We used to wear them out together clashing fantastically with tiny vest tops and boots thinking we looked amazing. We did make heads turn, but in hindsight for all the wrong reasons. Got us into the Comedy Club below T E Dingwalls in Camden Lock for free a few times.....or was that for snogging the Ozzie bar staff. Oh those were the days
