I've accidentally found the cure for giant hormonal chin spots

....those big lumps that form under your skin and erupt in giant fashion every month...

I bought a few different things from The Ordinary, this one was recommended for lip plumping but it also mentioned being good for lifting the upper lip lines too. Anyway, several months ago I dabbed a bit on my burgeoning boulder and it completely died off within 24 hours. Since then I've done the same thing on three different occasions and it has always worked.
Totally non scientific and I've no idea why it works, but it does for me so thought I'd share 🙂

This is a Niod product rather than an Ordinary one. Both made by Deciem but the Niod stuff is more expensive.

@jo10000

Cleanse - Nivea daily essentials refreshing facial wash gel - I use it morning and night. I use a cleansing brush for this - a silicone pad that's shaped like a teardrop with small 'nibs' all over it to gently brush the cleanser onto my skin. You do not want to use a hard face washing brush as this will dry out the skin overtime and cause more breakouts.
Tone - Nivea refreshing toner - I use it morning and night
Moisturise - Avon solutions 'truly radiant' moisturisers. One for the daytime (revitalising cream SPF15) one for night (overnight retexturising emulsion). - I use morning and night respectively
Spot treatment PS...PRO (primark) anti blemish breakout clearing gel. It contains the exact same stuff as every other spot treatment and I use that only at night time on redness and spots so it has time to work and it doesn't ruin my make up.

I remove make up using micellar wipes on my face and neck and micellar water on cotton pads for the eye area.

I also do a 'deep clean' of my skin twice a week using the following:
Exfoliate - simple kind to skin smoothing facial scrub
Face mask - charcoal face mask (can buy anywhere they're all the exact same)
Skin serum - some cheapo from primark (again, they all have the same ingredients)

Thank you Capricorn!

I get big spots on my chin & jawline which I think are partly hormonal (menopause) & sometimes due to toxins from constipation. That lip stuff is expensive but I might give it a whirl

I put a compeed blister plaster on overnight. Works like a dream.

I got Differin (adapalene) from the doctor which has completely sorted out the monthly cystic spots. Surprisingly emotional going to a doctor about it when it had felt so hopeless for years. Plus I avoid all products with stearic acid.
