Please tell me about places to shop I might not know about!

I live in a small town on the edge of nowhere (nearest city is 3 hours away). In terms of actual shops here we have Next, New Look, DPs, White Stuff, M&S, Matalan, M&Co, Peacocks and some independent boutique-y places selling slightly quirkier stuff for big prices.

I've bought online from Boden in a wedding-related emergency, but don't think of their stuff as very 'me'.

I'm most likely to shop in DPs for jeans, and second-hand shops for nearly everything else!

In a thread I was reading last night someone linked to Pull&Bear, which I'd never even heard of! Some of their stuff is a bit bonkers for me but there are some things which I really like and it's made me wonder what I'm missing elsewhere.

I generally live in jeans (and at the moment a massive warm waterproof coat - windy coastal town), but I do love a bit of quirky or vintage stuff to make it all a bit more interesting.

I had no idea Pull&Bear even existed. What else do I need to know about?

My teenage dd likes pull and bear.
Not saying you shouldn’t though.

Stradivarius (or something like) which I think owns Pull & Bear - they have some good stuff. And other stories is lovely but I find it better in store and don’t tend to find I like much online. Also Uniqlo for warm things!

ASOS has a lot of different brands in one place so might be worth a look.

This might sound weird but follow holly Willoughby on instagram. I have found loads of new places because of it, from the very expensive to quite cheap

I love Monki and &otherstories
I love a bit of vintage but they have interesting prints and designs.
Monki are cheaper and are generously sized too.

New obsession is Lindex. Sounds like a window cleaner but is a bit like a more grown up Zara. And very reasonably priced.

I love Pull&Bear, especially their jumpers.

Asos stock them and lots of other brands.

If it’s quirky and retro you like then I recommend having a look on both British Retro and Miss Patina.
The two sites are really very different but clothes both have a quirky and retro look and are different; you’re not going to see hundreds of other people in the same clothes.

I like COS but it is a bit hit and miss. I love the style of Hush but not all there stuff is great quality. I've got some really good dresses from there though that have lasted ages and washed well. I've also had some really nice stuff lately from M&S but online. Their shops are mainly crap except for the massive ones.

Love uniqlo for cashmere jumpers and warm lounge clothes to doss about in.
Very reasonably priced and last well.

I live in a city but find the high street rubbish these days (there is never anything in the shops that I want and even the shops I like seem to have not enough stock) so am buying nearly everything online. I buy from:

Hush (sale only, usually, and yes their knitwear can be too expensive for the quality)
Me + Em (sale only)
Finery
Cos
Esprit
Uniqlo

I've bought one or two things from Mint Velvet but really need to sift through the website to find anything I want, and French Connection came up trumps with my all-time favourite dress reduced in the sale to £20.

If it is possible to make one trip to a bigger city and do a lot of trying on, you'll get an idea of the right sizes and looks which work for you in a range of shops, and then shop online from then on. I'm newish to uniqlo, for example, but its taken me some time (and quite a lot of trying on) to know what size works for me..

I'm with Maude , make a trip into the city, try things on to check out the sizing and then order online. I'm not much of an online shopper as I love browsing round the shops and trying stuff on. Was in &otherstories yesterday and they had some lovely new stock. Pull& Bear is ok. MY DS likes their jeans and jumpers but quality wise it is a bit variable.

and yes it is not exactly High Street prices which I think is waht the OP is looking for.
