Bras for small of boob

PrincessWatermelon · 02/02/2018 09:02

Since bfing both my children and then losing a stone and a half my once fairly small boobs are now pathetic! I reckon I'm an A or maybe just about a B. Probably 32 back. My stomach sticks out further than them! (Not helped by muscle separation due to giant babies).

Anyway. Any recommendations on where to buy bras? I'd like padded ones to create an illusion Smile Thanks

Yes, the tightest I can possibly pull it is 30"

Measured my underboobs and I'm 32?! My boobs hanging over at 90 degrees are 33. I have a wide back.

PrincessWatermelon · 02/02/2018 19:26

Wellhello - how tight were you on your boobs? I flattened nipples but not much more...

You might be ok in a 32 band wonderbra if you are a 30 inch underbust as they do come up small.

MassDebate · 02/02/2018 21:54

Look at B'Temptd bras, they are really pretty and most of them come in a 30 back. If your breasts are shallow you might suit the balconette style as they prop your boobs up a bit to make the tops seem fuller. I've been a convert since buying my first one a couple of years ago and have loads of them now. They have some on Figleaves and House of Fraser but you can buy them direct too iirc.

Wellhellothere1 · 03/02/2018 09:18

Princess I measured with only minimal pressure round my (non existent) boobs. Flattened my nipples a little. I could only find a metal measuring tape though so I'm not sure it's completely accutate. Anyway I've had 32" bras in the past and they feel really tight round my back so I do think a 34A is best for me.

dementedpixie · 03/02/2018 09:47

The 32 back bras may have felt tight because the cup size was too small. If its too small the breast tissue 'steals' fabric from the back and makes it feel tight

AllButterShortbread · 03/02/2018 10:11

Try a balconette or half cup style if you’ve got the flat top part of the breast. I think they’re called shallow breasts? Balconette always made me think of breasts bursting out of corsets sort of look but actually they’re nothing of the sort and will eliminate the empty cup scenario.

And I’d say try a 30 and 32 C and D in a few styles. Don’t be afraid to try a size that you think you’d no way fit into! You might be surprised.

AllButterShortbread · 03/02/2018 10:12

I meant to say measurements of 30”/34” gives a 30D as a starting point.

Wellhellothere1 · 03/02/2018 11:20

I measured again this morning with a better tape measure and pulled fairly tight and now my under boobs are 30" and my boobs are 32". So I'll try on some 30b bras? Thanks all.

AllButterShortbread · 03/02/2018 11:27

Yes 30B is a starting point but it is trial and error. Happy shopping.

Fabulous advice! Thank you all.

I think you're right about trying a balconette bra as 'shallow cups' sounds accurate.

I think I'll order a heap online so I can try on at home in loads of sizes and styles then return them. Will look at the WonderBra and also the B'Temptd ones.

Any more online recommendations gratefully received.
