Are brides still wearing strapless wedding dresses these days?

I was looking through some old photo albums from 5-10+ years ago, when we seemed to have multiple family and friends weddings every year for a few years.
I couldn't help but notice that the majority of brides wore stapless gowns, and then I thought, there's something you don't see anymore?

I wonder if it was Kate Middleton's dress in 2011 that changed this and made sleeves and lace fashionable?

They are still very common yes. I had straps added to mine.

Yes, but not a good look. Even the slimmest brides are constantly tugging at them and on the non slim they emphasis every bulge.

I’ve recently been wedding dress shopping with DD2 and there are still quite a lot of strapless ones as well as many sleeved ones (in all lengths). There is more choice than there was 6 years ago when shopping with another DD, there were very few alternatives to strapless then.
DD2 has chosen a strapless, although some of the sleeved ones looked good on her the strapless actually suited her better.

Most are strapless since they are easier to alter. I got so many compliments on my straps, which looked like an original part of the dress and not add-ons.

I think strapless is fine as long as it fits. I wore strapless 7 years ago and didn't have to tug at it as it was a corseted top.
