Lovely slippers that don't pong!

Just that really.
I've had some really cute Ruby & Ed and Cath Kidston slippers in the past but gosh they get smelly quickly and even if you wash them they aren't great.
What am I looking for? I'm thinking autumn/spring rather than full winter - I have some sheepskin slippers but they are a bit too hot if it's not that chilly.

Wool and sheepskin are premium products, so if garments are lined with them then they will certainly be announced on the labelling.

Towelling slippers (the sort you get in hotels and spas) are very cheap, and they're machine-washable. Why not buy yourself a job lot and customise them to your fancy?

jelly you'd think so but the UK regulations seem you require "textile" specifically.
E.g. I found some cotton slippers on an Austrian site but on Amazon UK it just says "textile inner" and wool ones say "unlined". Others say Wool, Cotton and Plush (which usually means faux fur) in various places on the description.
So I'd rather get ones that someone else has found to be OK!

I don't really like the towelling or waffle ones and I'm pretty sure you can't paint or dye them.

You can dye them if they're cotton.

The labelling is so frustrating. You can't tell whether the difference is due to different rules/practices in each country, or whether they're actually different products.

Have a look at slippers.co.uk they have a natural fibres section.
