Where the heck do you buy shirts if you have bigger boobs?

I've been and tried on some shirts this morning, managed to find one but it's only ok so it might go back. The problem I have is that they all gape on the one button by my boobs. I'm a size 12 and they all fit lovely everywhere else apart from this one area; I'm a 32E. The 14s were all too big and look silly. I'm looking for a casual shirt to wear with jeans, but I want to be able to do it up and I want it to have buttons. I'm not keen on the over the head style shirt tops. So ladies with more generous boobs any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

I'm a 30F and a size 8. I actually find Jack Wills shirts to be alright, their sizing is quite unpredictable though, so you do have to be close to a store and try on in order to get the best fit for you. Generally, I size up one size, so I wear a size 10 - still has a nice fitted shape though

M&S no peep shirts work perfectly.

I tried pepperberry for a few things, but check the material as they seem to love stinky synthetics for some reason. I did once get a decent fitting cotton one from white stuff. It's almost see through, so I still need a vest under it even though it doesn't have the gaping problem...

Recommend andotherstories but buy a size 42, not the 40. They make the only shirts that don’t gape on me, I’m 5 8 and a 12 but size 36DD.

I’ve got a couple of the ASOS ones (size 12, 32G) and whist they are a bit thin, they do the job and were cheap.

I don't wear shirts like that any more, I do wear lots of drapey silky shirts, this kind of thing but the nice ones tend to be pretty expensive! I found the Pepperberry ones looked weird on me.

Another one for Pepperberry here. Really changed my life (well, ok, my work wardrobe).

Not too expensive, washes well. I am a 30E and the size 8 middle-curvy one fits perfectly.

Wollah, shirt doesn't pop open!

Wollah?

Did you mean voila?

😂

This is why I haven’t wore shirts for 20 years!

I have the same problem but find that a lot depends on the style of bra worn. Any low cut, half cup or push up type bra makes the boobs stick out way too much whereas if you wear a minimiser bra or one that mostly covers the cups and kind of flattens the boobs then shirts stay closed better where that awful middle button is. I hate it when that middle button gapes.

I've got some excellent shirts from M&S, H&M and River island that do not gape though I always have to get the larger size. Sorry but I think Pepperberry is overpriced crap with nasty fabrics to boot. Never liked their products though the idea is great.
