Best shampoo for really fine hair that's undyed...

So growing pixie out, all dye is out, grey's coming through nicely, but my hair is so fine it's no body.

What (restrained budget) shampoo can avoid weighing down my hair, but also stop it being fluffy?

L'oreal volumery (?) Got mentioned a while back... anyone know if that's any good?

I use baby shampoo on my fine hair. It doesn't weigh it down but I like mine to feel soft and silky so it may not help you!

Would a styling product help you?

L’oreal Elvive fibrology followed by shockwaves volumising mousse works wonderfully on my fine short hair. I’ve recently discovered that gel is brilliant too, rub it on your hands, turn your head upside down and scrunch it through. Give it a few minutes to dry then smooth over with a brush. Fantastic at adding some grip/texture.

Another vote for L’Oréal fibrology - the only ‘volume’ shampoo I’ve ever noticed made a difference to my limp fine hair!

Ooh I've just bought Fibrology today after seeing it advertised, can't wait to try it now.

Fibrology. Then volumising mousse and hair rough dried upside down.

Waitrose woodland friends is brilliant.

hugoagogo · 26/01/2018 07:26

Oh scrap that I missed the bit about you wanting it to be volumising.

Another vote for L’Oreal fibreology o have really fine hair and have tried many different products but using this and John Frieda fine to full blow dry spray and blow dry upside down has really really made a difference!

I've just picked some of the Fibrology up in Asda...went for the Fibrology 'Air' because it was reduced to £1.50

Hope I got the one everyone is recommending! Can't wait to try it in the morning
