Acrylic nails

How much do you pay for acrylic nails? As in sculpted tips and then shellac on top. I pay £37.50, is this reasonable?
Also, how long do you go between appointments?
Years ago I used to go to the 'Chinese' nail shops which were lovely and so much cheaper, but feel they ruined my own nails so refuse to now. Just curious what everyone else pays/does
Thanks Smile

I don’t get my nails done but I would say that those ‘Chinese’ nail bars (high street nail bars staffed by Asian women and occasionally men?) are cheap for a reason and are very often a front for people trafficking and modern slavery. So I would always prefer to pay for a reputable salon that I am confident isn’t abusing staff.

Sorry to hijack the thread with this but it is an unseen issue in our towns and cities. These cheap nail bars pop up in droves and are ruining lives.

I pay £30 for a full set with OPI polish or £35 if I have shellac.

The girl who does my nails has done them for over 20 years and they're very natural - people often comment on how nice my nails are and ask if they're real. She charges £20 for infills, which I have every 2 or 3 weeks, and she recommends that I have them soaked off and left to breathe for a week or two every six months.

I personally wouldn't risk going to one of the pop up nail bars as I doubt their hygiene practises are up to scratch and I'm pretty sure they don't have insurance either let alone the whole modern slavery issue.
