Thick sole slip on shoes for jeans

sourpatchkid · 15/01/2018 23:25

I usually live in ballet flats but I need something better over winter

Ideally something very easy to slip on - probably black or navy but I'm flexible on that

Size 8 or 9

Budget - I can pay up to £50 but would like as cheap as possible

Thanks Smile

Loafers?

You can also find non-lace-up brogues (slip-ons but in the style of a brogue). Or how about some zip-up ankle boots? Less faff than tight slip-on ones, but no fiddly buckles or laces.

sourpatchkid · 16/01/2018 14:26

I can't find any loafers that dont look really old lady like Sad

A chelsea boot? In clarks more like 65 quid but there's cheaper about.

sourpatchkid · 16/01/2018 18:20

No I have boots, I want something I can literally slap my feet into (no sitting down or pulling them on)

Thanks though

I am no good at links but maybe look at H&M? They have some fur lined slip on sneakers with quite thick soles. Might not be your style obv.

I bought the furry H and M ones on Friday and they’ve barely been off my feet! Very comfy and cosy though not my usual style.

vitaminC · 16/01/2018 18:34

I have some very similar to these.
They don't look grannyish and are really very comfortable!

catladyinthemaking · 16/01/2018 18:38

What about no tie laces ?

I want them Ulysses! What’s the sizing like? I’m normally between a 4 and 5.

Keel · 16/01/2018 18:40

Vans slip ons. Very comfy. I've got some Snoopy ones Smile

Breadkneadslove · 16/01/2018 18:47

Vans! They do a slightly suede slip black version with a chunky black sole. I also love my jigsaw chunky sole , currently in the sale at £60 ish I think!

Ulysses · 16/01/2018 19:23

I got a 6.5 and they’re a perfect fit Underlinethat so true to size for me.

PillowCate · 16/01/2018 19:58

UGG slip ons!!

dissapointedafternoon · 16/01/2018 20:00

Seven feet apart

sourpatchkid · 16/01/2018 20:50

Oh god, I love them all. I may well end up with the HM ones but the vans make my heart beat faster! I'm pretty sure I'm not cool enough for them though ...

Go Vans! Course you can rock em... i dont rate h and m footwear, false economy for me, fits not great and inside material always rubs and I find I can't walk any distance in them. That might just be my experience. I love h and m just not their shoes.

Ohyesiam · 16/01/2018 21:16

The vans will give you cool, that's how it worksSmile

sourpatchkid · 16/01/2018 22:00

Grin maybe, I do wish it was true ... I shall browse the site some more and consider ...

Fit flops. They are so comfy and have an internally raised sole which is perfect for those with a high in step. I've got two pairs of fit flops and I walk miles in them and my feet never tire.
