Deodorant for an 8yo girl

DD who does a lot of sport has just alerted me to the fact that she is getting whiffy under her arms. Can anyone recommend a fairly gentle deodorant she can use please?

bionsen deoderants are gentle (no alumnium) the smell isn't overtly girly though if that's something you'd want to consider, plus they come in stick and spray - maybe give them a smell in boots first!

The Natural deodorant Co. Expensive but you only need a tiny bit, it's all natural, no chemicals at all, works great.

DD has this, I get it from Tesco. There's a green version which is fragrance free for younger children (called fresh kids i think) but DD prefers the pink one.

My DD uses Bionsen but I'll be on the lookout for the Keep it Kind one DropZone

We did have the Body Shop strawberry deodorant but it's surprisingly full of nasties!!

DD uses Bionsen too, it’s got a lovely scent.

Just to say thank you for this. Dd1 is 8 and is starting to get a bit whiffy so we are on operation 'showers won't kill you' and I've just picked up the green keepitkind in Sainsbos. If we are, as I suspect at the beginning stages of a decent into hormonal hell at least she won't be stinky.

Bear in mind they all seem to be deodorants rather than anti - perspirants so will mask smells rather than stop the sweating

The smell really doesn't matter as I read an article saying we have all been doing it wrong.

You are meant to apply deodorant at night before bed. Not in the morning.
