Nope. Why would you? Something called pop real on the right hand side of the page. I just think it looks very silly to have a little girl wearing the same dress as her mum.

YRNBU one of the mums at school did this at Christmas with matching Christmas dresses-very twee and unnecessary

DD1 and I have done it by accident, we both put on grey wooly tights, denim mini and a grey top at the weekend. She's 10, she has similar colouring to me and similar taste in clothes. I suspect it may happen again. Would never make a small child be a mini-me though.

I went to buy some sheepskin boots for me some years ago and DD aged 2 came too. Then we saw a little pair of sheepskin Clarks ones that fit her. She looked so sweet!

She also had a little handbag that she used to carry over her arm to copy mummy. So so so cute.

Matchy matchy complete outfits however would not work. I am too old for pink tutus or pinafores or rainbow coloured leggings.

Dd & I both have navy/white tips that are similar, on the odd occasion we’ve both put them on at the same time I have got changed - I don’t have the figure to be compared with a teenager!

I used to live in Asia. Seemed to be a big thing over there. Mummy and daughter dresses and worse bikinis

I dress like my 13 year old DS sometimes - jeans, jumper and converse. I’m much prettier though...

NerrSnerr · 12/01/2018 18:08

I haven’t done it, but if someone wants to then that’s fair enough. If it brings the mum and daughter pleasure who cares if it’s twee?

PasDeDeux · 12/01/2018 18:24

I think it's absolutely none of your business and ridiculous to start a thread over it.

Crumbs1 · 12/01/2018 18:26

Ghastly idea.

NeverHadANickname · 12/01/2018 18:28

I don't like the idea at all, children should have their own identity. However, I went on holiday with my six year old niece one year and every night she insisted on waiting until I got dressed so she could as closely match me as she could, even if it was just the colour 😁 was really sweet.
