I wanted to buy a Seasalt dress in the sale but sadly they are all gone.
I got the email re the sale on a train to a lunch so couldn't buy it. By the time I was free to check the phone the dress on the Seasalt Sale website was gone.
I googled the dress and it's for sale on eBay in various sizes ( but not mine Sad).
The dress was originally £90 but the seller is selling them for £40 - I think this was the sale price.
How does that work ?
Just curious.
How do people get their hands on so many of the same dresses to sell in various sizes?

I don’t know. I’ve just bought a current season Joules jacket from an eBay shop for £25 less than on the Joules website. All sizes and colours available and the jacket hadnt been in the Joules sale. I also saw loads of Seasalt jackets too for £40 less than on the official website. All proper sellers with a huge number of feedback, mostly positive.

Maybe there is a Seasalt factory outlet somewhere and the buyer got them from there?

They might be seconds

I've wondered this too

Staff discount so can afford to sell lower than sale price??

Also some may be stolen items. You just can't tell.

Have you checked the seller's other items & feedback? Sometimes clues in there if they're a professional seller. Or look at the description (eg unwanted gift).

I don't know if this is exactly how it works or not but I've been told that there are warehouse sales where companies sell off surplus stock and businesses (who then sell on eBay) buy them up and sell them with labels removed. I've bought plenty of items like this from ebay and if you put the word/words "ex" or "ex store" in front of your search, you can find brand new stuff from places like Monsoon, M&S, Wallis etc. All legit as far as I know.
