I love wearing lipstick but my favourite Clinique lipstick is not long lasting.

Does Lipcote work?

It's very drying.

But that's the nature of anything that lasts a long time on your lips.

Works but as trills says is very drying. If you use it, make sure you top up with a clear balm every now and then throughout the day.

I use it daily and have done for several years. It works well but is drying, as has already been said,

I tried it many years ago and was horribly allergic, think trout pout.

I used to use it in the 90s. Has the formula changed since then, does anyone know? It used to sting my lips. Mind you I’m probably too old for anything drying now, anyway 🤷‍♀️

I do have quite dry lips anyway.. maybe I'll stick to reapplying my lippy!

What works for me is to apply my lipstick, blot with tissue paper, and then reapply a second layer. Much less drying than Lipcote.

I used to use it 20 odd years ago, it's like painting your lips with hairspray - at least it was. I remember it was quite drying.

The problem with Lipcote is is preserves the lipstick on the outer edges of your lips much better than in the centre.

Normal lipstick just seems to fade all over, but with Lipcote you end up with a dark ring of lipstick that looks worse than if it had all faded!
