Best makeup brushes?

NY resolution is to put more effort into wearing makeup. I have quite decent products gathering dust e.g. Chanel and Mac stuff but my brushes are all old or cheap. I don't see the point of having good products if I don't have decent applicators.

Which are the best brushes as is long lasting, good quality and hair doesn't molt on my face?

I've always like Eco brushes or Real Techniques. Both available at Boots. Reasonably priced

I currently use the Eco Brushes as well. They seem pretty good; I wash them every month or so and they are holding up well (a lot of cheap brushes seem to lose their bristles when washed!).

I also love eco tools and real techniques, my most used brushes are by them. TK max usually have both at good prices, and if you can wait the sets often go on half price offer at boots or Superdrug. I also have brushes from the B range at Superdrug which are great.

I have Eco tools and they’re great.

Real techniques are really good and affordable, love the powder, blush & highlight brush. The orange sponge is good for blending. Not a fan of the eye brushes I like fluffy ones x

I like zoeva and spectrum brushes, use both everyday

I got the Wayne Goss set for Christmas and they are amazing

Dd really tastes Morphe brushes.

I was unfortunately gifted some corse and loose bristled brushes for Christmas. They don't work well (for me) so last week I took a chance and picked up some eco brushes in Boots as they were 1/2 price and I'm really impressed with them.

I bought some fab makeup brushes off Amazon. The brand were ‘Mystic Orchid’ and there were a set of 32 brushes which included a lovely carry case and they were very reasonably priced. I’ve found in the past that there’s no actual difference between the higher priced ones from the big brands and the cheaper ones as they’re probably all made in the same factory.

OakIsBetterTho · 29/05/2018 08:19

All mine are either real techniques or eco tools. I rather like them!

bingohandjob · 29/05/2018 08:27

Real Techniques - bought a set in Superdrug when they were half price, really good quality. I rate Superdrug's .B own brand too - got an eyeshadow and blusher brush and both really good to use.

I buy real techniques and eco tools too. Always get them on offer. Sometimes when I can’t be arsed to wash my brushes or have used lots on a night out look I stick them in a zipped up pillow case. Then I shove them in a gentle wash in the washing machine. They survive that abuse without losing their bristles.

Beautifullymixed · 29/05/2018 09:20

Another for eco tools, or real techniques brushes.
I also love elf brushes too.
All wash well, apply make up beautifully, and deliver with Amazon prime. Smile
