Rollers?

I have a curling wand that I use some days but it takes a while to do so was wondering if there are any rollers that produce a similar effect? I want loose curls quickly not ringlets

Any recommendations please?

Thanks

You can get heated rollers. There are mini sets which heat up quickly, you can roll your hair (less rollers if you want looser curls unless your hair is very thick) then you can leave them in while you do breakfast/makeup/whatever. The cooler they are when you take them out the better the curl will last. Then run your fingers through. I think they are better for hair than curling wands. Look for quick heating sets.

I grew up with rollers and the heated ones were seen as quite a breakthrough but, as I remember, turned out to be a disappointment as the curls didn't hold. Of course the technology may have changed but then again, hair hasn't.
My aunt - who was an authority on these matters - used to tell me rollers only worked properly on wet hair. She went for a shampoo and set every week and then slept in rollers in between. I wish you well with that.

Babyliss pro heated rollers work - spritz your hair with Loreal Tec Ni Pli before putting them in. It is a miracle in a bottle for curl hold.
There are soft foam rollers and curlers you can put in overnight but you'd have to be careful of the direction you pull the hair in etc to get the curls to sit as you like. There's some weird Velcro things you can get that you pull the hair through with a big needle but can't remember what they're called.
Babyliss Hot Rods are great for a defined long lasting curl but not that easy to get hold of and you may need 2 sets if you have thick hair.

Ah they're called Curlformers here

Flo - the wet hair and rollers at night was in the days of tight curls, the heated rollers curl will drop a bit but loose curls are what the OP is after (and heated rollers wirj better for that than tongs as the hair has chance to cool down with the rollers in, thus setting the curl, better than a ring which is individual and gets taken away whilst the hair is still warm).

Yeah that's true sparkly.

But flo - wet hair & rollers at night give the best 40s and 50s effect if that’s what someone was after! Smile
