Summer feet made in the winter

Just looking at my sad, neglected trotters and thought now’s the time to start taking care of them ready for spring/summer. They’ve been scrubbed, grated, moisturised and I’ve even put nail oil on.

I need to join you. Exfoliating with Nelsons chiropodist sponge (I think that’s what they’re called) once a week and applying flexitol cream daily usually do the trick, but I need to keep on top of it.

I am obsessed fastidious about my feet all year long. I use flexitol, foot file, moisturise and tend to my cuticles every day.

I actually love my podiatrist. It's a clinical experience, not a spa one and I bring the average age in the waiting room down by a couple of decades, but for £20 every 6 weeks, my feet have never been in better condition.

I love cherries-what the podiatrist do to your feet? Wondering if it’s worth me making an appointment.

I was just thinking I ned to deal with my feet

She took off all the hard skin - with regular visits, that bit only takes seconds now. Got rid of callouses on/under/between my toes. Whipped off a corn. Cuts toenails (much shorter than I could manage), dealt with ingrowing toenail. Honestly, I skip out of there! I think I was £30 for my initial MOT appt (about a year ago) and £20 every six weeks for maintenance. Nothing fancy though - no soaking, massaging, toenail painting etc. She also sorted my plantar fasciitis with stretching/manipulation and orthotics. (Which I did pay extra for). Couldn't recommend it enough - you do need a proper registered podiatrist though, not a glorified beauty person.
