Has anyone had any treatments/used any products to get rid of acne scarring? My skin has cleared up in pregnancy yet I still look like I’m covered!

Led face mask, green for scarring & red to make collagen.

Time consuming though at 20 minutes per colour.

Have you tried things like gycolic acid products?

My acne scarring wasn't as bad as yours but when I started using glycolic acid toner and a vitamin c face cream (both by the ordinary so nicely inexpensive!) my skin started looking better pretty fast.

Also, apparently rosehip oil can help.

Fluffy which one do you use? Just had a quick google but nothing jumping out at me - did you start with treatments then buy your own?

Jersey yes I was using alpha h liquid gold pre pregnancy but have paired everything back - I actually wonder if going back to basics has helped me! I will take a look at the ordinary though.

Thanks both!

I bought this one, I do 20 mins of each colour. Red has to be last. No idea why. The strap on mine doesn't work so I lie down instead.

Superdrug do a Glycolic toner, £3.

My scars were just like yours but have since got better. They only really started doing so once I saw a dermatologist and they started me on retinoid cream (tretinoin) and azelaic acid (skinoren). Also some vitamin C serum.

I was also told that the redness will clear naturally over time.

If you cannot see a dermatologist, would also recommend a BHA like Paula's Choice.

@gah very happy to see a derm, where did you find yours? Thanks!

I forgot to say, I didn't have salon treatments first. I always follow Newby Hands & Caroline Hirons for advice, once they green light something I'll try it.

It's thanks to Newby hands that I started wearing total sunblock at 22, I don't know anyone else in rl who does so.
