A mum sent their make up to be tested and found there was asbestos in it. Claires have recalled some products but it's not obvious on their site so here's a link: www.claires.com/us/product-and-safety.html?cid=product-and-safety&awc=5387_1514481155_d23fa8c7995aef58740cf181a27cc09e&utm_campaign=78888&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=affiliatewindow

Asbestos is only harmful in inhaled so unless you are snorting it you should be ok.

But powdering it up and applying it to your face is fine, just don't inhale? C'mon, makeup is by definition something that gets broken down into easily inhalable particles during application. Not really what I'd consider a "safe" use for asbestos.

That link just goes to their homepage. Where did you hear this OP?

Does this work?
It's in numerous papers like The Independent, The Guardian, Time...

Lots of people breath in make up because they don't understand the inherant risk of breathing in the particles.
