Charity shops are a fruitless effort here too, though I haven't really looked in years perhaps I should re-evaluate. My main issue with most of them is that they're run by religious organisations who will only offer aid to those of the same faith

cactus either soft florals/polka dots short flowy dresses or tunic styles that are essentially straight (usually white or cream cotton with bits of lace or broderie anglaise) but will have little strings around the waist to give them shape. There's more variation of course, the general silhouette is definitely loose from the body though but nipped in at strategic places. Will definitely cover them in the future.
Elle, I think that's the right medium. 'Perfect' and 'nice' are both adjectives that are very much centred around dressing for the outside world (which we all do in some degree and probably predominantly as teens) but for me, items have to feel a bit like home, I'm dressing to please me first the rest comes second.
mrsthomas, it definitely sounds like a toss-up. For fear of offending all leather biker jacket owners, there's nothing wrong with them, heck I even have one but it's a bright metallic sort of pewter one which is actually surprisingly versatile. However, I think they have very much become this thing of shiny buttery leather (goat, sheeps or lamb when the OG version is stiff cow and matted with age) with very shiny prominent hardware (which is nice against matt finishes but becomes a tad blingy with the more luxurious pelts) and are very fitted when the original was oversized and off the shoulders which gave a bit of breathing space around the neck which is much more flattering, I feel. I want to attach a picture but it appears I've used up my quota for life on MN or something? link here
Anyhow it's very much become this item to 'spice up' your rather formal wardrobe and perfectly blown out hair with but essentially it's become quite bland and formal by the ubiquity of it. From the one you've linked, I do like that the hardware is matt black, that pulls it away from the cliche and makes it a bit fresher and less fussy but on the other side, I don't really rate the Karl Lagerfeld brand. It really feels like an American diffusion brand that runs on a big name but doesn't have the quality to match and often is made in cheaper countries with questionable ethics.
If I'm unsure and keeping it around and waiting out the returns period on something there is a difference between just admiring something for what it is and wanting to keep it around because of that (and possibly representing a great bargain) and actively really wanting to wear it or finding it working with unexpected outfits, etc. Usually, if I manage to make it close to the final return date and I haven't ripped the tag off yet it almost always goes back.
Crazy, it's just using your finger as an applicator and tapping in rather than using the bullet straight on the lips. It's demonstrated in this around the 3min mark. That video reminds me though, as the mentions the Rene Furterer brand which I've had a shampoo sample of a while back. I was quite impressed with it, not enough to switch out my CR for but I liked it quite a bit.
