Where do I get those? I’ve just been to Mothercare and no way would I wear the stuff.

I normally do wear high street stuff and some fancier things but don’t know where to look for more interesting and better quality pregnancy gear.

All suggestions will be most welcome Smile

Isabella Oliver - they do good basics that are better quality.

It's been a while since I was pregnant, but I bought from Seraphine and Formes. Lovely stuff.

Thank you ladies! I’ll check them out x

I've got most of mine on ebay. If you don't mind second hand, I would definitely recommend it. Worked out I got over £700 of clothes for under £200. That's my complete maternity wardrobe sorted.

Brands I went for include:

Isabella Oliver (great dresses, perfect for work)

JoJo Maman Bebe (some of their stuff is a bit frumpy in my opinion but I got a couple of nice plain jersey dresses)

H&M Mama range (the jeans are great)

Mamalicious

I also bought a couple of larger jumpers (not maternity wear, just over-sized). Got an almost brand new Whistles knit for £7

Topshop and H&M were my go-to for maternity stuff, and I bought a couple of Isabella Oliver bits off eBay.

Mango have just brought a maternity range out which looks good.

Mothercare and JoJo are frumpy as fuck.

I usually wear nicer end of high street stuff when not preggo. I struggled to find nice stuff. ASOS does some fairly stylish stuff but the fabrics tend to be a bit cheap and nasty. Topshop maternity isn't bad (hadn't shopped in topshop for years before but tried it out of desperation and was pleasantly surprised. IO is nice but expensive for stuff you are only going to wear for a few months. Seraphine stuff just didn't fit me so I sent it all back, but it seemed fairly well put together. I found jojo, Mothercare and most other maternity brands horribly frumpy.

there is bugger all if you hate the super polyester stations isabella oliver, seraphine etc. everything is so mumsy or else wrapped, rushed. yawn. no innovation has been put into anything maternity. pregnant? ok you like flowers and stripes now. in the end i just wore shirts unbuttoned and normal tops a size too big. luckily i didn't get very big.

10 seconds later opened instagram. for the poor victim of maternity clothes it was floral ruching or nudity.

Have a look at Madderson too. It’s expensive, but there’s some decent stuff (the sales are v good).

I wore a lot of back dressed from topshop and Seraphin, and Gap maternity is also worth a look.

Run from mothercare. Ugh.

Look at Clary & Peg for British-made, vintage-style maternity clothes. I’ve just got some amazing dungarees from them. Pricey though - bought as a treat to myself when 20 week scan went well after earlier problems, found a discount code too!
