Please can someone recommend a hair dryer

My hair is wavy and quite often looks like a birds nest after blow drying. Hairdryer has just died. Don't particularly want to spend a great deal but I do want one that's going to defrizz me! Budget is up to £50 any goodies out there?

Parlux - expensive but worth it. I’ve had mine ten years and you wouldn’t know it. Helps sleek down my hair and stop it going frizzy

ChishandFips33 · 18/12/2017 21:56

Parlux here too. I have straight fine hair though so can't comment on frizz minimising

Can't fault the better drying time against my old Babyliss

bingohandjob · 18/12/2017 22:01

I love my Parlux.

JessieJams · 18/12/2017 23:10

Bought my Parlux on MN recommendations and love it!

LazySusan11 · 19/12/2017 02:26

I know Parlux is popular but I don't blow dry my hair regularly and so I object paying upwards of £90 for something I'll use infrequently However when I do dry my hair I want to be defrizzed! Any other suggestions?

I just got a £40 Remington one from John Lewis, cream colour and I'm pleasantly surprised by how good it's power and frizz zapping properties are!

MissWimpyDimple · 19/12/2017 05:00

I have a parlux and don't find it any different to the £15 one I replaced.

It's still just a hairdryer which blows (actually very very TOO) hot air

TobleroneBoo · 19/12/2017 05:15

I have a babyliss diamond ( or something along those lines) I love it

bingohandjob · 19/12/2017 05:46

If you want a more budget friendly one, I just had a Lidl email that said they're doing Paris Hilton styling tools range and apparently the hairdryer is really good (despite the awful branding but who's going to see it) - think about thirty quid from Thursday.

Interesting bing thank you.

Costco have a babyliss one on offer now at £39. My friend is raving about it. Says her hair has never been softer. Feels like a professional blow dry apparently!
