I would love to have a muck about with some Benefit makeup but absolutely loathe makeup ladies who pounce on you as soon as you even glance with interest at any of their stuff. If only they'd just leave you in peace for 5 minutes to have a poke around and get a handle on what's what.

Most Benefit staff are nice, not like grim ladies on other counters
however our local Boots has the most useless, makes the mildest mannered woman want to scream, assistant on the planet, so this is not a foolproof rule.

with hi beam (or moonbeam) you put some dots of it at the top of your cheekbones then blend with your finger. (You can use it just underneath your eyebrows too)

Benefit ladies in general seem to be more laid back, less pushy and less robotic than others.

i tried it on my cheekbones and it just looks weird think i'm doing it wrong. ok on brow bone though i suppose.

i have a voucher for debenhams and can't decide what to get next the benefit lady always seems nice here though.
