I am a student nurse and my next placement is in the recovery room where you wake up in after anaestetic. Obv mucho time on feet, and we have to wear clogs that are not outdoor shoes. They do provide them, but I would rather not spend 40 hours a week wearing someone elses shoes.

Crocs seem to be the best answer and prob the best value. WDYT? Do you have them? Are they really comfy?

I think I want these-

If anyone wears them in a healthcare setting do you find that the vents at the bottom let stuff (blood, snot etc) in? Would I be better with these?

What is the sizing like? Do they come up small or big? I am size 5.

I know they are deeply unstylish but I will also be wearing scrubs and generally looking rough so its not an issue!!

They are soooooooo comfy - look ugly but I love mine!!

Buy the size you would normally wear, they should be lose, but that is built in.

Good luck, what colour do you have to have?

Have a look on ebay and you may get some that look very similar at a fraction of the cost.

Good luck X
