Dress for wedding guest: 2 months after baby. Urgh. Help!

It's almost enough to make me turn down the invite but that feels wrong!

I'm due to have my baby now, wedding is mid Feb so I'll be a couple of months pp.

So, I need something I can feed the baby in.

And, I'm MASSIVE now. I'm usually a size 12-14 with an hourglass figure and huge boobs. Need a decent bra at the best of times so nothing strapless, backless etc. When breastfeeding I'm about a Hh/J cup. And I've put on weight while pregnant so stomach will not be good by Feb and nor will my arms.

Short of a sack with strategically placed zip, what can I wear?

I'm 5'3 with dark hair and olive skin and generally suit any colour. There's no specific dress code.

Help please wise ones!

I went to my sisters wedding when my baby was 6 weeks . I wore a lovely stretchy French connection maxi dress . It came in under my bust so skimmed my tummy . I didn't breast feed but you could have done discreetly . I'll see if I can find one .

It was this one , I was probably 14 hourglass when I wore it . You are welcome to borrow it if I can find it but I'm short so had it shortened to floor length on me ( it was super long )

I wore pretty flat sandals and wore flowers in my hair so make it more weddingy. 🤗🤗

You have my sympathy. I went shopping for an outfit 2 weeks post partum for a wedding 3 1/2 weeks post baby. I was not ready for seeing myself in full length mirrors....I digress.

Also hourglass. I ended up with a dark blue satin skirt, longer at the back, and with a thick waist band. I put a white chiffon blouse thing with it, and unbuttoned as necessary. Not the most comfortable outfit, but boy, I looked like I had my shit together. totally didnt and my final layer was to use the teeny baby as a distraction.

As a fellow hourglass, what I discovered on my shopping trip was anything floaty was a no no. Tailored is better. So maybe look at skirt/top combos?

This was the silhouette of the skirt. The fullness of the skirt hid, well, everything, including my section overhang, and the waistband gave me shape again. It helped that I was at a winter wedding, so I could get away with long sleeves as well.

Have a look at Biba in house of Fraser-good floaty 70s sillouettes

Thank you for the advice! Tiny baby as distraction is a good point, and I hadn't considered skirt and top options but that could work.
A tailored shirt dress could be similar with a wide belt. I am glad it won't be hot so I can be reasonably covered up.
Hopefully the Jan sales will throw something my way.
