Best hair dryer for fine coloured hair??

My old hairdryer is dying and I’ve been looking at reviews. The Parlux everyone seems to rave over but I’ve heard it can get quite hot which won’t be good for me.

I’m tempted to try the Dyson from QVC, I know it’s a lot of money but I wash my hair most days, pay a lot of money for my hairdresser and have 2 daughters so it’ll get plenty of use.

Anyone have any recommendations?

My hairdresser has been using the dyson and I love it - I have fine coloured hair & if I had the money would totally buy it. I went in for a wet cut recently & got to dry my hair with it - really light and easy to use - plus looks fab!

I have a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer and the colored parts of my hair are still the same even after drying my hair everyday with it.

I have fine hair and a Parlux - would buy another. Hair not coloured though...but straightened every day

Thanks for the replies. Does it get hot? Anyone have a Parlux with fine hair? Is it good? Does it get too hot?

Think my hairdryer has been on the decline for ages and I’ve forgotten what a new drier will be like.

Mine is the Parlux 3200 compact ionic version and has adjustable heat and speed settings

I'd always had budget Boots type brands previously and noticed a massive difference in drying time

I tend to blast my hair dry, head upside down style and then straighten or Babyliss big hair to shape

I wonder if the ionic trickery offsets heat damage knows little about the tech behind these hairdryers
