Make up brushes for a 12 year old?

A little nervous posting here since I'm deeply unstylish and not feeling very beautiful today so please be gentle :)

DD is getting into make up and I don't mind as she likes to play around with it with her friends. She's got some basic make up brushes from Claires accessories but has asked if she can have some better ones for Christmas

As someone who never wears make up (told you I was unstylish) I don't even know where to start or what budget to put on it.

Would £20 get me some acceptable ones and if so where from.. if not how much?

Honestly ? They all look roughly the same to me... just brushes with different coloured handles!!

Thank you

I got a lovely gift set from The Body Shop for roughly that price.

I would get some from Morphe as they are affordable and the quality is pretty decent.
www.beautybay.com currently have free shipping on Morphe brushes, but I think they usually have free shipping on orders over £15.

I would suggest an angled liner brush for eyeliner/eye brows.
A couple of eye shadow brushes (there's a BH cosmetics set with 3 brushes for £6 that might be good)
A brush or two for face powders like blusher, bronzer, powder.

Real Techniques are also very good, you can get them from Amazon.

Super drug do Real technique which my dd likes you get the gift box as which is fine if you are like me and have no clue what you are buying.

Real Techniques are great and very good value. They have lots of sets about in the Christmas aisles of Boots/Superdrug. Can also be picked up in TK Maxx cheaply too- I got the Expert Face Brush from there recently (which is amazing by the way).

Superdrug have a range called “Lottie” which are quite cool looking and not too expensive.
Real Techniques are really good too.

Another vote for Real Techniques as good as much more expensive ones. Often on offer in Boots and Superdrug. A powder/blusher brush and an eyeshadow brush would be a good start

Eco Tools do nice brushes. You can buy them as singles or in a variety of nice little pouches. They sell them in Boots and my local big Tesco which means they are probably sold at superdrug and Sainsbury too. You should be able get a nice set for just under your budget.
