BB cream / tinted moisturiser

Can anyone recommend one? I want something that I can wear everyday, that is not too heavy and is quick to apply. Probably willing to pay up to £20 and need to be able to buy it on the average high street.

I always used to use tinted moisturiser, then a woman on a beauty counter told me I should be using a BB cream. I got a No7 one, which I’m currently coming to the end of. Not been blown away by it, tbh, and I’m not even sure what a BB cream actually is - how is it different from tinted moisturiser? Sorry - I’m a bit ignorant about beauty products. Blush

I love the Bobbi Brown one. Never fails me. It might be slightly over £20- not sure. But it’s fab x

On a night out I’m a Mac girl... for work I’m a Rimmel B.B. cream girl

BillWagglestaff · 16/11/2017 22:32

Great - thank you. Would I get the Bobbi Brown one in Boots?

I used to use Rimmel tinted moisturiser and liked it, so that’s also a good one to consider. Thank you!

Watching this with interest, I’ve been using the Rimmel BB cream, but I find it quite chalky and even after I’ve given it a good rub in you can still see it on my face in streaks Confused

I highly recommend the Bourjois 123 CC cream, I know it’s not a B.B., but it evens out the skin tone and goes on very light, I’ve been using it everyday. I just pop it on like a moisturiser and it’s like your skin but better. £9.99 and often in 3 for 2 type deals.

I was the same as you, used the no 7 one but was not over impressed. I'm using M&S Autograph's one now and am really impressed, have purchased multiple times - is as good as the Lancôme version but for about a third of the price

MeOnSea · 17/11/2017 00:06

Ps it's quick to apply and not too heavy

BillWagglestaff · 17/11/2017 00:26

Oooh, good tip! Thank you @MeOnSea!

@MightyMunki what is a CC cream? I am v in the dark about these things! :)

Colour correcting, B.B. is blemish balm, there’s a DD too but I can’t think what it stands for Confused

BillWagglestaff · 17/11/2017 00:45

Ah! Thank you! :)

I LOVE the garnier one. Not expensive. It makes a massive difference to my skin. Have tried lots of others and always come back to this one.

MathsFiend · 17/11/2017 10:22

I quite like the kiehls one. It doesn’t replace my foundation for a polished look, but is good for casual daytime.

UnicornInTraining · 17/11/2017 14:24

La Roche Posay CC Cream - love the smell, the texture (thick enough to cover redness), the SPF30 protection, the little glowy effect and the fact that it is pretty efficient on my rosacea

UnicornInTraining · 17/11/2017 14:29

I just checked and it is £20 in Boots Shock Definitely buy some or get someone to get you some from France/a duty free if you can as it sells for 11€ there!

BillWagglestaff · 17/11/2017 17:15

Fab tips - thanks. I shall be trying these all out in Boots this weekend! :)

Thought you might like an update! I actually ended up getting 2! The Garner one and the Bourjois CC. Garnier is v v light and was actually in the cream section rather than make-up. I like it, but it's definitely barely there. The Bourjois CC works really well and it's my current favourite - good coverage and seems to last all day, without being heavy. Thank you for all the tips!

Another vote for the Bourjois CC cream I've bought it loads of times
